1:00 - 4:00 Round 2

Lunch: Because we're anticipating a large number of players at this event, we're going to cater it. We'll provide Lunch and a Beverage (Pop, Water or Juice) for each player, ready for them right as the 12:00 lunch break begins.
General Rules: Welcome to our last RTT of 10th Edition Warhammer 40K! This event is a day to bring out your favourite models that haven’t seen the table much this edition, to play with a thematic/narrative force that brings a story to the table, or to just show off your hobbying skills!
This won’t be a typical RTT with podium prizing, we’ll be more focused on rewarding members of the community who show us their hobbying, painting, and sportsmanship skills, along with plenty of miscellaneous awards and random draws. Join us for a proper send off to 10th as we eagerly await 11th!
Rule of Thumb: Please treat each other, staff members, and organizers with respect. While this is a semi-competitive/competitive format with prizing, we are also here for a good time (and hopefully good stories). The tournament will enforce the ITC code of conduct. Be kind, be cordial, have fun!
Format: This will be a 3 game Rogue Trader Tournament (RTT). The missions and secondaries will be drawn from Chapter Approved 2025-2026. Pairings will be run through Best Coast Pairings (BCP) using the following method: Wins / Random. Placings will be calculated by: Wins / Opponent Win % / Battle Points. In the event that there is an odd number of players, the player who is assigned the bye will receive a 70-0 victory. Round length is a strict 3 hours.15 minutes are allotted to transition to the next round.
Judging: There will be an active judging stance at this event. While the judge(s) will not be looking to intervene, they may step in to adjudicate disputes and help speed up rulings. Calling over a judge to help with a ruling is encouraged and will not be held against anyone. Judge rulings are final.
Dice: We ask that players use one type/colour of dice so that opponents and judges can clearly see what numbers are showing. If your dice has a symbol for 6 or 1, it must be consistent across all your dice (exception for Miracle dice, wound markers, etc.), and cannot have symbols on multiple sides (i.e. skull on 1, faction symbol on 6). Dice must be rolled in a location visible to your opponent.
Chess Clocks: To ensure each player has equal time to score points, chess clocks are highly encouraged for this tournament. Tournament rounds will be 3 hours. Each player will have 1.5 hours on their clock. Clocks can only be paused by the judge. Once the 3 hours are over, a Hard Dice Down policy will be enforced. If one player requests a clock, the game must be played with one. Top tables in the final round of the tournament will play with a clock by default.
Bring: Dice, Dice Trays, Tape Measure, Codex/supplement books, battery pack, tokens for abilities and auras etc., and any other gaming aids you may require.
Prizing: There will be prizes for favourite opponent, best painted, best display (if there are any), average joe, wooden spoon, and more along with random prizing. Typically, we like to see one third to half of the players rewarded with gift cards, trophies or exclusive merchandise. You must be present at the end of the event to receive any prizing.
Cancellations: Any cancellations in the 7 days leading up to the event will not be refunded. The ticket price will be rolled into the prize support.
Painting & Conversion Rules: Torchlight is proud to be home to a great community of hobbyists. The following rules will apply.
3D Printing: 3D Printed Armies are not acceptable. You may use 3D printed bits to customize your models, however we aren't allowing any armies where too many models are 3D Printed. (Under 20% of your army should be 3D printed.)
Conversions: Models must be WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get). Converted or scratch built models are admissible, provided they are similar in size and shape to the original (i.e. a sword replacing a sword). All models MUST be on their intended base size. You can check base sizes by visiting GW's official webstore and searching for the model in question. If you have any questions regarding your models, please send pictures and details to [email protected] or Sarah Ivankovic for approval.
Painting: Players are asked to have a GW minimum Battle Ready (See Bellow) on all their models. This is NOT “3 Color minimum”. Models that are not fully painted can still be used, however 10 points for Battle Ready will not be awarded. There will be a prize for Best Painted Army, voted on by store staff and the winner announced at the end of day.
